Szechuan Tofu and Broccoli

YUM!!! Tofu, broccoli, Szechuan, what more could a girl want. I love the simplicity of one sauce and 3 main ingredients.

Tofu Broccoli Szechan

Serves 2

1 packet extra firm sprouted tofu, drained, pressed and diced

1 head of broccoli, chopped and steamed

2 cups cooked brown rice

1/2 – 3/4 cup Szechuan Sauce

red pepper powder to taste

water to sautee tofu

agave

Directions

  1. Sautee tofu in water (add red pepper if using) for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping frequently. Add 1/4 cup of Szechuan sauce the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  2. Combine cooked brown rice, steamed broccoli, tofu and remaining Szechuan sauce in a bowl.
  3. Plate and drizzle with agave is desired.
