Toast with Mashed Avocado

 Toast with Avocado

Serves 1

2 slices whole grain bread

½ avocado, diced and smashed

1 tsp pepper

½ tsp salt


Toast bread and spread each piece with avocado, top with salt and pepper and enjoy!

Avocado Tip: Cut avocado in half lengthwise and twist open, remove seed. Cut avocado top to bottom 5 times and side to side 8 times to create little squares. Be mindful not to press to hard with the knife, the skin should not get cut, just the avocado.  Using a spoon scoop avocado out of the skin; the avocado is already dices and ready to go.
