October is Vegetarian Awareness Month and each year for the month of October I prepare vegan meals and will post only vegan recipes. If you have any questions about ingredients I use please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
I would challenge you and your family to try one meatless day per week or if you are a vegetarian try one vegan day per week. Remember if you are using meat supplements and non-dairy cheezes and milks they will taste different to you if you are not used to consuming them. Give the new products a fair trial run; they are made to be similar but will not cook or taste exactly the same. When cooking tofu or tempeh for the first time be patient with yourself, it takes some trial and error to prepare these products to your liking when you are new to them.
