½ pint cherry tomatoes
2 jalapeno, sliced in 1/4 inch rounds, optional (try this on half of the skewers)
1 handful fresh basil leaves, pulled off stem
24 small cheese tortellini, cooked and cooled
parmesan cheese, shredded, optional
Wrap on basil leave around a tomato, skew with toothpick and continue through a jalapeno slice and tortellini. Place on serving plate, once all skewers are arranged drizzle with balsamic vinegar and top with shredded parmesan cheese. Chill 15 minutes and serve.
